How to Bring an Offline Printer Online
One of the most common reasons a printer shows up as "offline" is because it's turned off. Printers work offline when they have a hard-line connection to the computer holding the document. The printer requires a means of communicating with the computer so it can read and transmit from the hard-drive to the print function. The printer itself does not have a hard-drive and cannot perform without a means of viewing your document. Bringing a printer online means it can print documents without a direct connection to the computer.

This is frustrating especially when you are trying to print something urgently needed. If your brother printer is not set as Default Printer , the system will not choose the printer first when you try to print something. Clearing all printer jobs can help you avoid being stuck in printing queue that prevent you from printing things. Sometimes you need to update the firmware of your Brother printer in order to resolve some issues of your device. Search the product you are using.
