Nothing has changed hardware wise. Ran fine before the upgrade and still runs fine on my desktop running Win 7. Device Manager says everything with the COM port is running fine.
Still get an error when initiating the device. Pretty sure this is the problem. So how can I revert to the older file version? Or does someone have another suggestion? This thread is locked. Turns out I figured out the problem and a fix. The issue is with the usbser. So I checked out the other suggestions with no success. I have determined that I am using the latest Vendor Driver.
The problem for me is definitely with the usbser. I also noticed before the logger errors out it does retrieve one data value. I'm guessing there is some sort of handshaking problem. USB serial driver Usbser. I can see this usbser. So you think there is some setting in this file that may be he culprit? Is there something I should edit in the file below? I am no expert here so for me to change something would be throwing darts blindfolded.

There have been no hardware changes on either end since Win10 was installed. I'll check out the other suggestions too.
