No trace of the WNv2 - just the uncomforting: Please continue to check back for updates. Message 3 of 8. Ziped the driver files from my old installation in case anyone is missing the driver. I dunno where it went right, but I installed the software until it would not find the USB device. Then I tried to install the software in Win 7 Compatibility Mode that didn't work either.
So after reading this forum I simply plug in the USB device, looked in the Network and Sharing area and saw it was already there. Right-click it, hit Connect and Bang! Message 5 of 8. I was having the exact same problem on a new install of Windows 8.
Luckily I have now found the solution. Leave the USB dongle disconnected 1. Allow windows update to run fully. Your dongle will now function, visit networks via the charms menu top right corner with mouse then swipe down input your connection key and you are now online.

WN111v2 - N300 Wireless USB Adapter
So when someone leaked Windows 8 Enterprise N Edition Build on file sharing site, I thought it was a good opportunity to try the final version of the OS ahead of most of people. Although thus far, no work around is available for the product activation, but even a 30 days of trial period is worth it. It keeps saying that waiting for me to plug the adapter, even the adapter is already plugged. I am so glad that I did not completely wipe my Windows 7 I am using dual systems now. With couple searches on google and previous experience in installing drivers. I found this method to fix the problem.
